In this creative 2-hour workshop you'll be introduced to
- techniques of reinventing and reviving your old clothes
- basic sewing practices both by hand and sewing machine
- source sustainable materials
- mending, the aftercare of your garments
Last but not least, I invite you to slow down and take the pleasure in the joy of creating something with your own hands and some simple equipment.
Extras
All you need to repair your clothes! Practical sewing kits for darning and Japanese Sashiko stitching to simply add to your home sewing utensils, or take on travels. Each kit comes in a cotton string bag with a small booklet for sketching, writing and journaling. Your chosen repair kit will be ready for you on the day of the Sewing Circle session.
